Ingredients

 
1/4 lb. butter or margarine
 
1/2 c. flour
 
1 tsp. salt
 
1 1/2 tsp. curry powder
 
1 qt. milk
 
1 c. shredded American cheese
 
1/2 c. dry sherry
 
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
 
4 hard cooked eggs, sliced
 
1 c. blanched almonds
 
3 lb. cooked and deveined fresh or frozen shrimp
 
3 3-oz. cans chow me in noodles, heated

Directions

Melt butter; add flour, salt and curry powder.
Stir until blended.
Gradually add milk; cook over moderate heat, stirring constantly, until smooth and thickened.
Add cheese, sherry and worcestershire sauce; stir till cheese is melted.
Fold in sliced eggs, almonds and shrimp; heat to serving temperature.
Serve over noodles.
