Summary

Cuisine

Ingredients

 Shrimp6 Large
 Butter2 Tablespoon
 Half and half1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
 Worcestershire sauce1 Teaspoon
 Thick chili sauce1 Tablespoon
 Thick toast slice1
 Butter1 Tablespoon

Directions

Buy fresh cooked shrimp; or buy green shrimp, then shell, devein, and cook. Combine 2 tablespoons butter, half-and-half, and shrimp. Heat. Just before serving, add Worcestershire sauce and chili sauce. Pour over toast in soup plate; add 1 tablespoon butter, and serve immediately. If desired, pass a small pitcher of lemon juice. A drop or two improves the flavor, but let the guests add their own, as the shrimp mixture curdles easily.

I found a recipe for a similar type of pan road, the pan roast like at the Palace Station Hotels in Las Vegas. It is at www.panroastrecipe.com which I got and it is as close as you can get to the real thing if you want to make it at home.
