Shrimp Jambalaya Recipe
Ingredients
| Cooked shrimp | 2 Dozen | |
| Sherry | 1 Ounce | |
| Gumbo file | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
| Green peppers | 2 | |
| Onion | 1 Medium | |
| Butter | 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) | |
| Garlic | 2 Clove (10 gm) | |
| Chopped mushroom | 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs) | |
| Canned tomatoes | 1 Cup (16 tbs) |
Directions
"Saute green peppers and onion in butter until tender; add garlic.
Stir in mushrooms, tomatoes and shrimp; simmer for 10 minutes.
Add sherry, salt and pepper; mix well.
Stir in file just before serving.
Serve over cooked rice.
