Shrimp In Hot Lime Butter Recipe

Ingredients
1 6-oz (170 mL) bottle light beer
1/4 tsp (1 mL) curry powder
1/2 tsp (2 mL) paprika
1/2 tsp (2 mL) dill seeds
1 onion, minced
1 lb (500 g) medium-sized shrimp
Melted or clarified butter to taste
Rind and juice of 1 lime or lemon
Directions
Pour the light beer into a large microwave-safe bowl, add the curry, paprika, dill and onion.
Bring to boil 4 minutes at HIGH.
Stir well.
Add the shrimp.
Stir.
Cover and microwave 2 minutes at HIGH.
Let stand covered 5 minutes.
Remove the shrimp to a warm dish with a perforated spoon.
Add the lime or lemon juice and the rind to the melted or clarified butter and serve with the shrimp.
Peel off the shell and dip each shrimp in the hot lime butter.
Serve with lemon rice and hot crusty bread.
