Shrimp Fricassee Recipe
This Shrimp Fricassee is a truly exotic, all-time favorite at my homeland. This Shrimp recipe is made extremely tasty with the tactful combination of mixed spices and tomatoes. Just give it a try!
Ingredients
| Butter/Margarine | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Flour | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Canned tomatoes | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Onion | 2 Tablespoon, finley minced | |
| Green pepper | 2 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Garlic salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Thyme | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Dried parsley | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Bay Leaf | 1 | |
| Celery salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| -1 pound shrimp, cooked and cleaned | ||
| Cooked rice | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
Meit butter in skillet.
Add flour and heat, stirring constantly until lightly browned.
Add tomatoes, onion, green pepper and seasonings.
Simmer 15 minutes.
Add shrimp and simmer 5 minutes.
Pack cooked rice into greased cups and place in moderate oven (350°F.) about 5 minutes.
Unmold on platter and pour shrimp mixture over them.
