Directions
Thaw shrimp, if frozen; peel and devein.
Set aside.
Pour boiling water over pea pods and carefully break apart with fork; drain immediately.
In large saucepan or Dutch oven dissolve bouillon cubes in 2 1/2 cups boiling water; add shrimp, onion, soy sauce, and salt.
Return to boiling; cook, uncovered, for 3 minutes, stirring the shrimp mixture occasionally.
Blend together cornstarch and cold water; stir into shrimp mixture.
Cook, stirring constantly, till mixture thickens and bubbles.
Add tomato wedges and drained pea pods.
Cook till tomatoes are heated through, about 3 minutes longer.
