Garlic Shrimp Creole Recipe

Ingredients
1 recipe rich roux
2 cloves garlic, diced
4 ribs celery, diced
2 Ige. onions, diced
1 med. green pepper, diced
2 tsp. parsley flakes
1 sm. can tomato sauce
1 sauce can water
3 bay leaves
1/2 tsp. powdered thyme
1 tsp. Tabasco
3 lb. raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Directions
Make rich roux in large heavy saucepan; add diced garlic, celery, onions, green pepper and parsley flakes.
Stir until onions brown slightly; add tomato sauce and water.
Season highly with bay leaves, powdered thyme and Tabasco.
Add raw shrimp, salt and pepper; cover.
Cook slowly for 1 hour.
Thirty minutes before serving, add worcestershire sauce.
Serve over rice.
