Shrimp And Bamboo Shoots Recipe
Ingredients
6 scallions
1 pound raw shrimp, shelled and deveined
3 tablespoons sherry
4 tablespoons oil
1 cup sliced bamboo shoots
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon pepper
Directions
Cut the scallions lengthwise in several places from the green end up to the white part, resulting in a frilly looking scallion.
Toss the shrimp with the sherry and let stand 5 minutes.
Heat the oil in a skillet and saute the shrimp for 2 minutes.
Add the bamboo shoots; cook 3 minutes.
Season with, the salt, soy sauce, sugar, and pepper.
Cook 1 minute longer!.
Turn into a serving dish and arrange scallions on top.
