Shrimp With Mustard And Dill Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 pounds raw shrimp, shelled, cleaned, washed, and dried | ||
| Dijon Mustard | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Cayenne pepper | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Garlic | 2 Clove (5gm), finely chopped | |
| Caraway seeds | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Turmeric | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Vegetable oil | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 large bunch of fresh dill, finely chopped | ||
Directions
Combine the mustard, cayenne pepper, garlic, caraway seeds, turmeric, and salt to taste.
Add the shrimp and blend well.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour and up to 6 hours.
Heat the oil in a deep frying pan over medium-low heat.
When hot, add die shrimp, shaking them to remove most of the marinade.
Stir well, cover, and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until they just become firm.
Sprinkle over die dill and stir it in well, dien serve the shrimp right away wim boiled rice and the remaining marinade as a sauce.
