Shrimp Stuffed Grapefruit Recipe
Ingredients
| Grapefruit- 1/2 large, seedless | ||
| Onion Salt- 1/4 teaspoon | ||
| Cooked Shrimps- 4 ounces, cut in thirds | ||
| Key lime | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Key Lime Dressing- | ||
| Lime juice | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Water | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Pimientos | 1 , drained | |
| Chicken Bouillon- 1 cube, crumbled | ||
Directions
GETTING READY
1) In a blender, mix together lime juice, water, pimientos and bouillon.
2) Blend the mixture for 3 minutes until smooth paste.
MAKING
3) Dredge the grapefruit with onion salt.
4) Using a sharp paring, and carefully remove the segments, work over a bowl and reserve the juice.
5) Cut the membranes from grapefruit shell, leaving a uncut shell.
6) In a bowl, mix together shrimps and grapefruit segments and juice.
7) Fold the mixture lightly and spoon into shell.
SERVING
8) Serve with Key Lime Dressing on the side.
