Shrimp Scampi Recipe
Ingredients
| Jumbo or Large shrimp - 12 ounces, shelled and deveined, tail left on | ||
| Enriched all-purpose flour - 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon | ||
| Olive oil | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Parsley | 2 Tablespoon, chopped (For Garnish:) | |
| Lemon slice | 1 (For Garnish:) | |
| Garlic | 1/2 Teaspoon, minced (For Garnish:) | |
| Dry white wine | 1 Fluid Ounce (For Garnish:) | |
| Lemon juice | 2 Teaspoon (For Garnish:) | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon (For Garnish:) | |
| White pepper - A dash | ||
Directions
MAKING
1) In flour, dredge the shrimp properly. Set aside.
2) Heat the oil in a 9-inch skillet.
3) Add the garlic and sauté till it has turned golden in color.
4) Add the prepared shrimp and sauté, occasionally turning, till the meat starts to turn pink. This takes about 3 minutes of sautéing.
5) Add the wine and bring the preparation to a boil. Cook for about 1 minute.
6) Add the salt, pepper and lemon juice and stir well.
7) Take the pan off the heat.
SERVING
8) Serve hot after garnishing with parsley and lemon slice.
