Shrimp Paste Recipe
Ingredients
| Shrimps - 2 pounds, cooked shelled | ||
| Butter | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Powdered mustard - 1/4 teaspoon | ||
| Ground mace - Pinch | ||
| Sherry | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | 1 | |
Directions
MAKING
1 In a mortar pound the shrimps or grind them 3 times.
2 In a bowl, cream with butter, mustard, mace, sherry, and salt and pepper to taste.
3 Transfer to a bowl or a pot with cover and chill.
SERVING
4 Serve with crackers for an appetizer, or for breakfast.
