Shrimp Oriental Recipe
Shrimp oritental is a peppy and hearty shrimp recipe prepared with vegetables. Cooked with mushrooms along with celery, onions, peas in lemon juice and butter, it offers a sensational taste. Flavored with added ginger and soy sauce for that oriental taste, the shrimp oriental is great with fried rice or noodles.
Ingredients

| Onion | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), finley chopped | |
| Butter/Margarine | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1/3 cup Lemon Juice from Concentrate | ||
| Water | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Brown sugar | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Soy sauce | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Ground ginger | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Cornstarch | 2 Teaspoon | |
| 12 ounces small raw shrimp, peeled and deveined | ||
| Pea package | 1 , frozen | |
| Hot cooked rice | ||
Directions
In large skillet, cook mushrooms, celery and onion in margarine until the celery is tender-crisp.
Mix together juice water, sugar, soy sauce, ginger and cornstarch; add to mushroom mixture.
Over medium heat, cook and stir until thick and clear.
Add shrimp; cook 3 to 5 minutes or until shrimp is pink.
Add pea pods; heat through.
