Shrimp Oreganata Recipe
This Shrimp Oreganata is one of the best Shrimp preparations that I've ever tasted. Try out this easily prepared shrimp dish with some savory sauces with rice or noodles, or in any other way you like. Tell me how you like it !
Ingredients
4 ounces cleaned, poached shrimp
1/2 slice dry bread, made into crumbs
2 teaspoons finely minced parsley
1 1/2 teaspoons vegetable oil
1/2 small clove garlic, mashed
1/4 teaspoon oregano
Salt and cayenne pepper (optional)
Lemon wedges for garnish
Directions
Arrange shrimp in an individual shallow flameproof casserole.
Combine remaining ingredients (except lemon wedges) in a small bowl and mix well.
Add a few drops water or clam juice to moisten, and pile some of mixture around and on each shrimp, covering them thoroughly.
Broil at moderate heat just long enough to brown crumbs.
