Ingredients

 Onion1 Medium, chopped
 Olive oil1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Green pepper -1 medium-size, chopped
 Carrot1 , scraped
 Mushrooms1 Cup (16 tbs), sliced
 Garlic2 Clove (5gm)
 English peas - 1/3 cup frozen, unthawed
 Red wine1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Tomato paste - 1 (6-ounce) can
 Basil1 1/2 Teaspoon, dried
 Oregano1 Teaspoon, dried
 Pinch of sugar
 Pepper - 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon
 Water - 1/2 to 1 cup
 Large shrimp1 pound, deveined
 Hot cooked linguine

Directions

MAKING
1. In a large skillet add oil and heat. Add onions and saute for 2 minutes.
2. Add the next ingredients. Saute till the vegetables are tender.
3. Add wine, seasonings, tomato paste and peas. Stir the ingredients well.
4. Add 1/2 to 1 cup of water in the mixture to get the right consistency.
5. Boil. Reduce the heat when mixture starts boiling. Simmer for 5 minutes more.
6. Add the shrimps. Cook 3-5 minutes till shrimps are cooked.

FINALIZING
7. Serve the mixture on linguine.

SERVING
8. Shrimp Shrimp Marinara with grated cheese.
