Shrimp in Beer Batter Recipe
How can anyone not agree with me that this Shrimp In Beer Batter is simply delicious? The primary ingredient in this is Seafood. Do try out this recipe. I am eager to know if you like it.
Ingredients
| Large potatoes - 2, cooked and mashed with cream | ||
| Shrimp | 18 , uncooked | |
| Flour | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Beer | 6 Ounce | |
| Oil | 2 Cup (16 tbs) (For frying) | |
| Pineapple slice | 3 , finely chopped (SAUCE) | |
| Mayonnaise | 1 Cup (16 tbs) (SAUCE) | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1 Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C)
2 Shell shrimp, leaving their tails on, and devein.
MAKING
3 In an ovenproof bowl, spoon the mashed potatoes.
4 Warm in oven (or microwave on HIGH 2 minutes just before serving).
5 In a bowl, combine flour and beer.
6 Mix to a smooth batter.
7 If the mixture is too thick, stir in a little water.
8 In a pan, heat oil.
9 Holding a shrimp by the tail, dip it into the batter.
10 Carefully fry a few at a time, in the hot oil until golden brown.
11 Remove and drain on paper towels.
12 Repeat until all shrimp are cooked.
13 To make the sauce, in a bowl, combine pineapple, mayonnaise and curry powder.
SERVING
14 On 6 individual plates arrange the fried shrimps.
15 Divide the sauce between six small bowls, arranged in the center of the plates.
