Directions

Clean shrimp if necessary.
Place shrimp in boiling water to which 1 teaspoon of nutmeg has been added.
After water resumes boiling, cook shrimp 3 minutes.
Drain; keep warm.
Heat 1 3/4 cups of the wine and the garlic in the top of a double boiler.
Remove garlic.
Add Swiss cheese; stir constantly until melted.
Combine cornstarch, salt, Worcestershire sauce, pepper and 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg with 1/4 cup wine; stir into cheese mixture.
Continue stirring until smooth.
