Shrimp Crab Bisque Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter/Margarine | 2 Tablespoon | |
| All purpose flour | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper white | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| 1 teaspoon instant chicken bouillon granules | ||
| Onion | 2 Tablespoon, finley chopped | |
| Dash red pepper sauce | ||
| Half and Half | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), divided | |
| 1/2 lb raw medium shrimp, shelled and deveined | ||
| Crab meat | 1 Can (10oz), drained, rinsed | |
| White wine | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Chopped chives | 2 Teaspoon, garnish | |
| Accompany with crusty bread . | ||
Directions
MAKING
1. To a medium sized microwavable casserole or bowl add butter.
2. Place in the microwave and melt the butter at HIGH for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes
3. Blend in flour, seasoning, bouillon, onion, red pepper sauce and 1 cup cream
4. Stir in shrimp and crab meat.
5. Return bowl to microwave at level- 7 for 6 minutes, stirring after 2 to 3 minutes, until the soup has thickened.
6. Stir in remaining cream and wine.
7. Return to microwave for 1 to 2 minutes until piping hot.
SERVING
8. Ladle the hot soup into warm soup bowls.
9. Garnish the soup with chopped chives.
10. Serve with crusty bread, if desired
