Shrimp Chowder Recipe
Ingredients
| Shrimps | 2 Pound | |
| Salt pork | 1/4 pound, diced | |
| Onion | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), minced | |
| Potatoes | 2 Cup (16 tbs), diced | |
| Mixed milk and light cream - 3 cups | ||
Directions
MAKING
1 Cook the shrimps.
2 Drain throughly, reserving the broth.
3 Shell and clean the shrimps.
4 In a skillet, cook salt pork until brown and crisp.
5 Keep aside.
6 In the fat, cook onion until soft.
7 Add onion, 2 cups of the shrimp broth, and diced potatoes.
8 Cover and simmer until potatoes are tender.
9 Add shrimps, milk and cream, and diced pork, heat throughly.
SERVING
10 Serve hot.
