Ingredients

 
Shrimp - 3 pounds raw, shelled and deveined
 
Salt - 2 teaspoons
 
Onions - 6
 
Oil - 1/2 cup

Directions

GETTING READY
1) Wash the shrimp, pat dry and toss well with the salt.
2) Slice 4 onions into thick slices and 2 onions lengthwise into eighths.

MAKING
3) In a skillet, saute the two onions in the heated oil, until browned.
4) Stir in the shrimp and saute for another 3 minutes.
5) Stir in the thickly sliced onions and saute until lightly browned.

SERVING
6) Serve immediately on individual serving plates.
