Shrimp And Egg Newburg Recipe
Ingredients
| 3 tsp low-calorie margarine | ||
| Skim milk | 1 Quart | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| 6 oz. Brilliant cooked frozen shrimp | ||
| 1/4c. Newburg Sauce | ||
| 2 eggyolks, uncooked | ||
| Eggs | 3 | |
| Noodles | 3 Cup (16 tbs), cooked | |
| Bread slices | 10 , toasted | |
Directions
Melt margarine in the top of a double boiler.
Add 3 c. (750 mL) of the milk, the salt, shrimp, and Newburg Sauce.
Combine egg yolks and remaining milk in a small bowl.
Whip or beat to blend.
Stir into shrimp mixture; cook and stir until thickened.
Cut the hard-cooked eggs into quarters.
Add to the sauce and heat.
Add 3 c. (750 mL) of the milk, the salt, shrimp, and Newburg Sauce.
