Shrimp And Clams Peasant Style Recipe
Ingredients
| 1/4 cup Progresso Olive Oil | ||
| Garlic | 4 Clove (5gm), minced | |
| Shrimp | 2 Pound, deveined | |
| Peppers | 1 To taste, roasted | |
| 1/3 cup Progresso Italian-style Bread Crumbs | ||
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Ground black pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Red clam | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| 1/2 cup dry vermouth or white wine | ||
| Parsley | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
Directions
In a large skillet heat olive oil until hot.
Add garlic.
Saute for 1 minute.
Stir in shrimp, roasted peppers, bread crumbs, salt, black pepper, clam sauce and wine.
Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer, covered, until shrimp turn opaque, about 4 minutes.
Stir in parsley.
