Shredded Wheat With Banana Milk Topping Recipe
Ingredients
| Ripe banana | 1 | |
| 2 cups bite-size shredded wheat biscuits | ||
| Wheat bran | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Almonds | 2 Tablespoon, sliced | |
| Skim milk | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 or 2 drops vanilla extract | ||
Directions
Peel banana and place in a heavy plastic bag.
Freeze at least 6 hours.
Remove from freezer and cut into eighths.
Divide shredded wheat biscuits into two serving bowls.
Top with wheat bran and almonds.
In blender, process banana slices, milk and vanilla until slightly frothy.
Pour over cereal.
Serve immediately.
