Shredded Turnips Recipe
Shredded turnips is a broth cooked turnips recipe. Cooked along with onions, the shredded turnips are slightly sweetened with sugar and served fresh off the skillet as an accopaniment to meals.

Directions
In a heavy 10 inch skillet, melt the margarine over low heat.
Add the onion and cook, uncovered, until tender and beginning to brown about 10 minutes.
Stir in the turnips, beef broth, sugar, and pepper; cover and cook over moderate heat for 30 minutes or until the turnips are tender.
