Shortbread Recipe
Shortbread is a delicious recipe which you will love to serve to your friends and family. This is something which I tried on my last weekend party and it was a great hit. So, why dont you try the same and share your experience with us!
Ingredients
| Butter | 1 Cup (16 tbs), softened | |
| Powdered sugar | 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), sifted | |
| Flour | 2 Cup (32 tbs) | |
| Sugar | 1 |
Directions
Cream butter.
Add powdered sugar, beating until light and fluffy.
Stir in flour...mixture will be stiff.
Press onto bottom of greased and floured 15x1 Oxl-inch pan.
Prick all over with fork.
Chill 30 minutes.
Bake 5 minutes at 375 degrees.
Reduce heat to 300 degrees and bake 25 minutes or until golden brown.
Cut into 1 1 /2-inch squares while warm.
Sprinkle with sugar.
