Divide into 4 portions.
Roll each portion into log about inches (3 cm) in diameter.
Roll in waxed paper.
Chill for shape retention when sliced.
May be sliced immediately or rolled on a lightly floured surface and cut into shapes.
If slicing, cut in 1/4 inch (0.5 cm) rounds.
Place on ungreased baking sheet.
Sprinkle with colored sugar or top with a tiny piece of cherry.
Bake in 325°F (160°C) oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
