Shortbread Recipe

Shortbread made using this recipe is an experience by itself. I prefer to make Shortbread as a Side Dish for all my family get-togethers. You do not need to be a gourmet to gauge how delicious and flavorful this dish is.

Ingredients

 
1/2 lb plain flour
 
1/4 lb butter
 
3 oz caster sugar

Directions

Cream butter and sugar.
Add flour and mix lightly until the mixture has the look of breadcrumbs.
Press the mixture into a greased sandwich tin to a depth of about 1/2 inch.
Bake in a slow oven for about 40 minutes.
Cut into pieces whilst still warm.
