Shish Kebab With Caraway Seeds Recipe
Ingredients
2 pounds lean lamb, cut into one inch cubes
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon caraway seeds
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
3/4 cup olive oil
2 tablespoons onion juice
1 clove garlic, finely minced
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl and gently stir until all pieces of lamb are well coated.
Let stand one to two hours.
Turn the meat in the marinade occasionally.
String the meat on skewers and broil over charcoal or under the broiler.
Cook to the desired degree of doneness, basting occasionally with the marinade.
