Shish Kabobs Recipe
Ingredients
| Vegetable oil | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Red wine | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Bay leaves | 3 , crumbled | |
| Wine vinegar | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Garlic | 3 Clove (5gm), crushed | |
| Pepper | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| 6 pounds chuck steak, cut into | ||
| 1 1/2-inch cubes | ||
| 1 pound large fresh mushrooms | ||
| White onions | 9 Medium, quartered | |
| 6 large green peppers, cut into sixths | ||
| Cherry tomatoes | 1 Pint | |
Directions
In a bowl, stir together first 6 ingredients to make marinade.
Place steak cubes in a large, shallow pan.
Pour marinade over steak; stir to coat.
Cover and refrigerate for 8 hours; stir occasionally.
Oil 12 long skewers.
Skewer meat alternately with vegetables, beginning and ending with meat.
Broil or grill for a total of 15 to 20 minutes, turning once.
Brush with marinade while cooking.
