Sherry Cheese Spread Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 lbs. bulk sharp cheese | ||
| 2 tablesp. butter or margarine | ||
| Granulated Sugar | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Speck cayenne | ||
| Salt | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Sherry | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Piece suet | ||
Directions
Grate cheese or put through fine blade of food chopper.
Add butter, sugar, cayenne, and salt.
Blend with fork or electric beater at low speed.
Add Sherry gradually, continuing to blend with fork or beater.
Fill small jars, pressing down firmly.
Melt suet over low heat; strain; cool slightly.
Pour over cheese, and let suet harden.
Tightly cover.
Store in cool place.
