Ingredients

 Peas2 Can (10oz)
 1/3 cup liquid from peas
 Mushrooms2 Can (10oz), sliced
 1/4 cup minced white onion
 2 tablespoons butter or oleo
 Nutmeg1/4 Teaspoon
 Marjoram1/4 Teaspoon
 Dry sherry1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Salt To Taste
 Pepper To Taste

Directions

Drain peas and reserve 1/3 cup of liquid.
Saute mushrooms and onions in butter about 5 minutes.
Add seasonings, sherry and liquid from peas and simmer 5 minutes.
Add peas and heat just until peas are hot.
Do not overcook.
Serves 8.
This is an unusual combination of flavors but it is delicious and especially good with turkey or chicken.
