Directions

GETTING READY

1) Take the pears and cut into lengthwise.

MAKING

2) Keep all the pears pieces in a 1 0- x 6- x 2-inch baking dish.
3) Take sugar, water, sherry and almond extract in a bowl. Mix them well and pour over the pears.
4) Bake the pears for 30 minutes at 350 degrees temperature.

SERVING

5) Serve the dish with vanilla sauce.
6) Before serving, sprinkle almonds on top.
