Ingredients
| 1 Spanish or cooking onion, finely chopped | ||
| 1 lb. roast beef, more or less, cut into small pieces | ||
| 1 cup rich brown gravy | ||
| Hot mashed potatoes | ||
| Milk cream | 6 Tablespoon | |
| Butter | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
Add cream and butter to mashed potatoes.
You may use food processor to mince the beef, but the texture is much nicer if you use a meat grinder, however the latter takes more time and patience.
Saute the onion slightly, add salt and pepper and mix into the meat.
If there is not enough gravy left from the roast, make a cup using canned bouillon cubes or even canned gravy.
Add to the ground meat.
Place the meat mixture in a baking dish, pile the fluffy mashed potatoes on top.
Add a little melted butter and paprika.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes at 400° or until potatoes are golden brown.
