Shell Macaroni Salad Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 package elbow or shell macaroni | ||
| Commercial French dressing | ||
| Celery | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| 1 tablespoon minced sweet onion | ||
| 1/4 cup chopped tart cucumber pickle or stuffed olives | ||
| Green pepper | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), minced | |
| 1 cup finely cubed cheese, ham, cooked meat, or fish | ||
| 3/4 cup mayonnaise or desired salad dressing | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
Directions
Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain thoroughly and rinse with cold water.
Add enough French dressing to coat the macaroni; chill thoroughly.
Drain off any excess dressing and combine macaroni with other ingredients, using enough mayonnaise or salad dressing to bind the ingredients together.
