Shell Pasta With Sweet Sausage Recipe
Ingredients
| 1/2 lb. small shell pasta or macaroni | ||
| Mild italian sausage | 6 Ounce | |
| Olive oil | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Heavy cream | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Half and Half | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Pinch of nutmeg and pepper | ||
| Parmesan cheese | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Parsley | 1 Tablespoon, chopped | |
Directions
Cook in boiling water until firm to the bite (al dente).
Drain and set aside.
Meanwhile, prepare sauce.
Remove skin, chop, and saute in oil until done, breaking with a fork to crumble.
Set aside.
Bring to a boil.
Add to above along with cooked sausage and heat thoroughly.
Add pasta to sauce, toss, and serve with more Parmesan cheese if desired.
