Cinnamon Sheet Cake Recipe
This Sheet Cake recipe easily finds way to the top of my favorite list. It is most popularly enjoyed as a Dessert. I will look forward to your feedback.
Ingredients
6 c. fresh, sliced apples (lay in bottom of pan)
2 handfuls crushed Wheaties or cornflakes (sprinkle over apples)
1 c. plus 2 T. sugar (sprinkle over the apples)
3 tsp. cinnamon (sprinkle over the apples
Directions
Roll the remaining dough into a rectangle 1 inch larger than the pan.
Fold in half and then in fourths.
Carefully lay it on top of the pie in one corner.
Unfold so that is covers the filling and pan.
Pinch the top and bottom crusts together and flute the edge.
Cut steam vents in the crust.
Brush with beaten egg whites.
Bake at 350° for 45-60 minutes, until the crust is golden.
Put powdered sugar glaze on top while still warm.
