Shaker Spinach With Rosemary Recipe
Shaker spinach with rosemary is a herbed spinach recipe. Pan cooked with butter and onions and seasoned to taste, the shaker spinach is a healthy preparation and can be served with meals of choice.
Ingredients
2 pounds spinach
1 green onion, chopped
1/4 teaspoon fresh rosemary or large pinch of dried rosemary
2 tablespoons butter
Salt
Pepper
3 sprigs parsley, chopped
Directions
Trim thick stems from spinach, wash the leaves several times in cold water.
Chop coarsely and pile in a large saucepan with all remaining ingredients.
Cook, covered, in its own juices about 5 minutes or until spinach is limp but still bright green.
