Shad Baked In Cream Recipe
Ingredients
1 three-pound boned shad
Butter
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
1 cup heavy cream
Chopped parsley
Directions
1. Preheat oven to hot (400° F.).
2. Butter a baking dish and place the shad on it. Dot with butter and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake, uncovered, twenty minutes.
3. Add the cream and bake ten minutes longer, basting occasionally with the cream. Sprinkle with chopped parsley.
