Seven Minute Frosting Recipe
For all the novices out there, this Seven Minute Frosting is a quick and easy dessert frosting to try. Despite the fact that this frosting uses very simple ingredients, each of which is readily available in your kitchen cabinet, what's more inviting about this Seven Minute Frosting is that it is almost as delicious as any complicated frosting! Ingredients
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/3 cup water
2 egg whites
1 tablespoon light corn syrup
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
Combine all ingredients except extract in the top of a double boiler; beat with hand rotary or electric beater until blended.
Place over boiling water; beat constantly until mixture will hold peaks.
Remove from water; add extract.
Beat until cool and thick enough to spread.
