Ingredients

 
1 head lettuce, shredded
 
1 green pepper, diced
 
5 stalks celery, chopped
 
1/2 onion, chopped
 
1 10 oz. frozen peas

1 cup low-fat cottage cheese, blended, or 1 cup low fat yogurt
 
2 tsp. sugar
 
2 tsp. parmesan cheese, grated
 
2 tsp. imitation bacon bits
 
2 tomatoes, wedged

Directions

1. Put shredded lettuce in a bowl. Layer diced green pepper, chopped celery, chopped onion, and peas on top of lettuce.
2. Spread yogurt or blended cottage cheese completely over the top of the salad.
3. Sprinkle with sugar, parmesan cheese, and bacon bits. Garnish with tomato wedges.
4. Cover tightly and chill, preferably overnight. Toss thoroughly
