Seven Layer Dinner Recipe

Ingredients
3 thinly sliced raw potatoes
2 thinly sliced raw onions
4 thinly sliced raw carrots
1/4 cup regular uncooked rice 50 mL
14 oz can green peas 398 mL
1 lb pork sausages 500 g
10 oz can tomato soup 284 mL
1 can water
Salt, pepper, etc.
Directions
Grease a deep casserole.
Arrange layer of potatoes in the bottom.
Cover with layer of onion slices.
Add layer of carrots, then sprinkle with rice and pour in peas with their liquid.
Top with sausages arranged in a wheel spoke pattern.
Add soup mixed with water and season to taste with salt, pepper and a pinch or two of your favorite herb.
Cover casserole and bake at 325F (160C) for 1 hour.
Turn sausages over and bake uncovered for 1 hour more.
