Seven Layer Salad Recipe

 Iceberg lettuce head1 , shredded
 Green pepper1 , diced
 Celery1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
 Onion1 Large, chopped
 Peas1 16 Ounce, drained
 Mayonnaise2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Brown sugar2 Tablespoon
 Shredded Cheddar cheese1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 1/2 cup crisp bacon bits

Directions

Prepare salad in a large bowl.
Add ingredients one at a time as given, each in a separate layer.
Do not toss.
Cover and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight.
Serve in bowl, making sure each guest digs down deep to get a portion of each layer.
You may also prepare in individual salad bowls, again making seven layers.
This salad will keep one or two days if necessary.
