Sev Ganthia Saag ! Aha this crunchy irresistibly seasoned gram fries are my favorite accompaniments with thepla or phulkas( you know those delicious Indian breads). Ingredients
| Sev or ganthia 1 cup | ||
| Cumin seeds | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Red chilli powder | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Garam masala | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Sugar | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Asafoetida | 3 Pinch | |
| Amchoor & Dhania powder 1/4 tsp | ||
| Coriander leaves finely chopped 1/2 tbsp | ||
| Oil | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
Directions
Dissolve all dry masala in 1 cup water.
Add cumin seeds and asafoetida in heated oil and allow to boil.
Simmer for about 3-4 minutes as you add masala.
Add sugar and ganthia or sev.
Stir continuously, use chopped coriander to garnish.
