 White sesame seeds1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 2 tbsps.sesame oil

Directions

Clean and soak the sesame seeds.
Wash and drain well and dry roast on a tava.
Make a smooth paste using a grinder.
Add oil and store well.
This tastes and looks like peanut butter.
Made from ground sesame seeds, it is also known as 'Tahina', available in oriental food stores, and health food stores.
This paste will keep for months if placed in a tightly covered jar and refrigerated.
Good substitute may be obtained by adding 1 teaspoon of sesame oil to 2 1/2 tablespoons peanut butter.
