Ingredients

 Teriyaki sauce2 Tablespoon
 Onion1 Tablespoon, minced
 Ginger root1 Tablespoon, minced
 Firmly packed dark brown sugar - 1 tablespoon
 Garlic2 Clove (5gm)
 Sesame seed1 Teaspoon
 Firm style tofu - 1 ounces, cut into cubes
 Peanut or vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
 Green onion2 Tablespoon, chopped

Directions

MAKING
1.Take a medium non aluminium bowl and mix together sauce, onion, gingerroot, brown sugar, garlic, and sesame seeds.
2.Now, add in the tofu and coat well.
3. Let mariante for about 15 minutes.
4.Drain the tofu and reserve the marinade.
5.Take a 9 inch nonstick skillet and heat some oil in it.
6.Add in the tofu and saute for 2 to 3 minutes on medium heat, unitl tofu browns lightly.
7.Pour the reserved marinade into the skillet and bring mixture to boil.
8.Let mixture simmer over reduced heat for 1 to 2 minutes so that the sauce thickens slightly.

SERVING
9. Gently spoon out the tofu.
10. Take a serving platter and put the tofu on it.
11. Into heat proof bowl, transfer the liquid.
12. Garnish liquid with scallion and serve with tofu as dipping sauce.
