Sesame Thins Recipe

Sesame Thins recipe is very precious to me because it was passed on to me by my mom. No other ingredient will make Sesame Thins taste so yummy than Milk Product. This Sesame Thins is never going to fail as a Snack. I cant believe you still haven't attempted to prepare my Sesame Thins recipe.

Ingredients

 
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
 
1/2 cup cornmeal
 
2 tablespoons sugar
 
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
 
1/2 teaspoon salt
 
1/2 cup butter or margarine
 
1/2 cup water
 
2 tablespoons vinegar
 
2 tablespoons sesame seeds

Directions

1. In large bowl, mix first 5 ingredients. Cut in 4 tablespoons butter or margarine until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in water and vinegar; knead 8 to 10 strokes, until blended.
2. Preheat oven to 375°F. Divide dough into 30 balls. On floured surface, with floured rolling pin, roll 5 balls, each into 4 1/2-inch paper-thin circle (edges may be ragged). Place circles, 1 inch apart, on ungreased cookie sheet.
3. Melt remaining butter or margarine. Lightly brush each circle with butter; sprinkle with sesame seeds. Firmly press seeds into dough.
4. Bake 8 to 10 minutes until browned. Cool on wire racks. Repeat. Store tightly covered.
