Sesame Green Beans Recipe

Ingredients
1 1/2 pounds green beans
Water
2 teaspoons sesame seeds
3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons salad oil
Directions
1. Trim ends from beans; if beans are very long, cut each in half.
2. In 3-quart saucepan over high heat, in 1 inch boiling water, heat green beans to boiling. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 5 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until beans are just tender-crisp. Drain; return green beans to saucepan.
3. Meanwhile, in small saucepan over medium heat, toast sesame seeds until golden brown, stirring and shaking saucepan frequently. Remove saucepan from heat.
4. To green beans, add soy sauce and salad oil. Over low heat, cook green beans about 10 minutes longer, stirring frequently, to blend flavors. Sprinkle beans with sesame seeds. Serve beans warm. Or cover and refrigerate to serve cold later.
