Senate Salad Recipe
Ingredients
| White tuna - 1 (7-oz.) tin , solid pack | ||
| Tomato juice | 1 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Lemon jelly powder - 1 package | ||
| Lemon juice | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Prepared horseradish | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Onion | 1 Tablespoon, grated | |
| Celery | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1 Thoroughly drain the tuna and flake.
MAKING
2 In a pan, heat 1 cup tomato juice to dissolve jelly.
3 Stir in 3/4 cup cold tomato juice and salt.
4 Chill until slightly thickened.
5 Gently fold in prepared horseradish, tuna and celery.
6 Into individual 1/2 -cup moulds, pour the mixture.
7 Allow to chill until set.
SERVING
8 Serve chilled.
