Semiyan/Kheer Recipe
Ingredients
| Vermicelli | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Low fat milk | 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
| Ghee | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Cardamom powder | 1⁄4 | |
| Pistachios | 5 , chopped | |
| Cashews | 5 , chopped | |
| Raisins | 5 , chopped |
Directions
Roast Vermicelli in ghee until vermicelli turns light brown. Keep aside
Boil 2 & half cups milk until it reduces to 2 cups milk. Add vermicelli. Add cardamom powder.
Boil for another 5 minutes or until vermicelli turns from crisp to tender.
Garnish with chopped pistachios, cashews & raisins.
Serve Hot or chilled.
