Seitan & Onions Recipe

Summary

Ingredients

 
3 cups (720 ml) half moon-sliced onions
 
3 4-oz pieces (360 g) Seitan, cooked
 
3 tbs (45 ml) vegetable oil
 
1/4 tsp (1 ml) ground black pepper, optional
 
2 tbs (30 ml) tamari soy sauce
 
1 1/4 cups (295 ml) vegetable stock or water

Directions

Slice onions and set aside.
Saute seitan in oil at high heat to brown.
When the seitan starts to brown, add the onions and saute a few minutes, then add the rest of the ingredients, lower heat, cover and cook until liquid is reduced to almost nothing.
